Even more interesting when you realize Green & Red are polar opposites of each other in color theory! They actually completely cancel each other out. I only know this because I went to the hair salon recently to go from a redhead back to my natural brunette, and they slathered green on my head to strip out the red. ❤️💚
Isabel, love your post! I've discovered my love for green over the last year as I freshened up parts of my home, putting up beautiful botanical wallpaper on an accent wall. Just last week after a year of searching I finally found the perfect area rug and it's a gorgeous green. The room has lots of green plants and it's so calming now. When I used to play golf I always said I loved it because "it was all about green, the course and the trees". I still love the flair of a good red, the perfect red nail, red lip or even a tshirt. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and rescuing the underdogs--I am a rescue Mom myself. Mila is my second rescue and the love I have for her scares me sometimes as I don't know how I'll cope without here, but for the time we are together we are bonded. She's a sweet, funny, overfriendly pit mix.
I love this post! Green was always my favorite color. Now I have two, green and yellow. My next house is going to have rooms with creamy yellow walls that both absorb and gently reflect the sun and be filled with plants. Yeah, green and yellow. TWO favorites.
Beautifully written Isabel! Green is my favorite color as well - the groundedness and calming choice of nature will always be so soothing and serene for me.
I lost my beloved dog last week. 16.5 years old. Her harness and collar are Granny Smith apple green with white polka dots. 🥲💔
My sympathy is with you.

This was such a beautiful post! I loved it! I also love green and I always associate it with Simon and Isabel!
Loved this! My favorite color is yellow because I love yellow flowers… but green is a close second 🌻
Any time I comment on any of your posts I always end it with 💚 knowing its your favorite color and it goes hand in hand with Simon 💚
