"At the ends of the earth, it's still you" ?!?!?! Am I reading a real life story here??! This sounds like a love story ripped from a novel. How beautiful to have something so special to write about! So glad you guys were able to come back together. I don't think we would have been able to handle it as your audience if you didn't find each other again after a line like that!!! Hahah
Frame it in glass on both sides so you can see the whole thing. I love everything about this story, and especially getting to see both sides now. I was totally hating on Jacob when you were apart. How dare he hurt Simon’s mom.! You seemed so sad, but as a bystander I now see how far you’ve come. Well done, Isabel, and sorry for misjudging you, Jacob. Is “At the ends of the earth, it’s still you” too long for a novel title? 😀💕
I'm in a tough season of life right now with my long-term relationship ending, and this gives me hope that things will turn out fine for me either way. Love hearing about your personal journey <3
I am straight-up crying. I remember when my then-boyfriend (now husband) and I were working through a really, really rough patch, and he was fighting for us and working hard to improve himself, and I kept holding back. and finally, it was my mom who just point-blank told me I had to give this a real chance. I brought him to Minnesota, my home state, so he could see what made me Me and so I could give him a chance in the best place I know, and we haven't looked back.
you describe that moment so well—when you finally reach that point. phew. lovely as always, and thank you for sharing your writing and your heart.
A relationship take a lot of work. A true partnership even more. I hope you are both still working and hope that your love for each other continues to grow. Very well written piece ❤️

So good. Every week I just want more. I would happily nestle into my couch for a couple days to read through a novel of yours. Great writing!
